Denise Perkins Unveils a Timeless Dining Room in the Jamie Merida Interiors Designer Showcase
At Jamie Merida Interiors’ Bountiful Home in Easton, Maryland, inspiration lives around every corner. Known for its signature “traditional made modern” approach, the design studio and showroom blend classic design influences with fresh color and texture to create interiors that feel both timeless and current.
The newest addition to the store’s Designer Showcase highlights the talents of senior designer Denise Perkins, whose thoughtful layering of furnishings and accessories brings a refined yet inviting dining space to life.
At the heart of the vignette is a Sarreid Jupe dining table, chosen for its warm wood finish and elegant scale. The circular form encourages conversation and creates a welcoming focal point within the space. Its rich tone anchors the room while allowing the surrounding textures and patterns to shine.
Framing the table are crisp white dining chairs upholstered in a bold Hickory White fabric featuring a graphic animal-inspired pattern. The contrast between the tailored white frames and the lively upholstery adds a sense of personality and movement, while still maintaining the room’s polished aesthetic.
Perkins introduces a vibrant green backdrop that energizes the space and highlights the architectural elements within the vignette. Custom floral drapery panels made from Stout fabrics soften the walls and bring in a garden-inspired palette, adding depth and a sense of classic charm.
Above the table, an ornate chandelier from Chelsea House becomes a sculptural centerpiece, drawing the eye upward and reflecting light throughout the display.
