Representing D.C.: How Our Location Affects Design Trends (Video)

September 22, 2020

DC Condo living room

I recently had the honor of joining a fabulous panel discussion about how our location in the broader Washington D.C. area affects design trends. The panel was moderated by Michael McCarthy, Editor in Chief at DC Modern Luxury. My fellow panelists were designer Quintece Hill-Mattauszek of Studio Q and designer Byron Risden. The panel was hosted by Andrew Pearson Glass and Charleston Forge (thank you!).

You can check out the video below... It was really fun to talk design with fellow designers!! We discussed design in the age of COVID, what is aesthetically unique to the D.C. area, and a whole lot more! If you're curious to peek behind the curtain and see how designers think, this is a great way to do so!
